Our Story

Hi, I’m Kelly. I’m so glad you’re here. Remedy Ranch Aussiedoodles is a family-rooted, faith-filled breeding program created from both personal transformation and professional experience. With a master’s in social work, clinical mental health training, and a background in animal-assisted therapy, I know firsthand how profoundly a dog can support the healing journey.

We’re very passionate about raising our puppies in a way that supports their whole body health and emotional well being. Our program is deeply rooted in holistic practices, and we regularly integrate natural remedies and wellness approaches into our care from day one.

Why We Do This

At Remedy Ranch Aussiedoodles, we don’t just raise puppies, we nurture intuitive, emotionally intelligent companions. Every part of our program, from our parent selection to our socialization curriculum is rooted in one purpose: to help individuals find comfort, regulation, and unconditional love through therapy and service-grade dogs.

This isn’t just a passion of mine. For me, it’s personal. It’s clinical. And it’s deeply spiritual.

From Surviving to Healing

Like many people, I’ve experienced seasons of anxiety, disconnection, and emotional survival. I grew up in an environment where I often felt the need to be strong, to perform, and to stay small to avoid conflict. Those early patterns shaped me—but they didn’t define me.

Animals were my safe place. Their quiet consistency helped me feel grounded in a world that often felt unpredictable. Over time, I realized that my deepest pain was shaping my greatest purpose. Today, I turn that lived experience into something healing—for others, and for every dog we raise.

Intentional Breeding with Proven Lineage

We don’t claim our dogs are therapy-quality—we prove it. Every dog in our program has either achieved their Canine Good Citizen (CGC) and Therapy Dog certifications or is actively working toward them, with documented training notes and professional evaluations.

As an AKC CGC Evaluator, I select only dogs who demonstrate calm confidence, emotional intuition, and adaptability. We source from some of the most reputable breeders across the country, with AKC champion lineage and Hall of Fame pedigrees. These aren’t just designer doodles—they are purpose-bred dogs from generations of health, structure, and proven temperament.

It’s in Their Genes—and Their Environment

Up to 50% of a dog’s disposition is genetic. That’s why we start with intentional pairings. But it’s what we do next that brings their true potential to life.

We implement:

• Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS)

• Early Scent Introduction (ESI)

• Sound desensitization, grooming tolerance, emotional handling

• Daily exposure to children, other animals, and varied environments

This combination of nature + nurture creates confident, connected puppies with the ability to emotionally co-regulate with their future humans.

Certified therapy and service dogs can cost tens of thousands of dollars—and insurance only helps those with extensive documentation and severe disability diagnoses. But we know that many people need support before things fall apart.

In a world full of overcommitment, chronic stress, and quiet struggle, a well-bred, emotionally attuned dog can be the difference between surviving and truly living. We believe in prevention, early support, and equipping families with dogs that bring comfort, regulation, and joy.

Raised in Homes, Not Kennels

Our puppies are raised right here with our family—or with trusted local guardian homes that live out our values. These families love and raise many of our parent dogs as their own, giving them the one-on-one care, companionship, and home environment that every dog deserves.

My Credentials & Calling

I hold a Master’s in Social Work and am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) with extensive experience in trauma recovery, adolescent mental health, autism support, addiction, and eating disorders. I’ve worked in clinics, schools, and therapeutic programs, and I bring that knowledge directly into our curriculum and placements.

But more than that—I bring lived experience. I know what it’s like to ache. I know what it’s like to long for stability, support, and peace. And I’ve built a program rooted in the kind of gentle, grounded love I once needed most.
